AS OF SPRING 2025: Great news! You can now build a Stareworthy book entirely from your mobile device! Just choose your book, click the "Start Personalizing" button, and upload your photos directly from your smartphone. If you prefer to work from a desktop but have your photos stored on your phone, you can start your bookmaking process on your mobile device, and after you upload your photos into the photo gallery, you can save your project and resume your work from your desktop.
If you prefer to transfer your photos from your phone to your computer to create a book, here are some helpful methods:
- If you use an Apple devices (iPhone, MacOS) and your photos are not synced across your devices, AirDropping your photos from your iPhone to your Mac will be the fastest and best option.
- For Android devices, the easiest way to transfer your pictures is by using a USB cable. Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable, then on the phone, tap the "Charging this device via USB" notification and select "File Transfer". Then, on the computer, you can open File Explorer and browse to the phone's internal storage to copy the photos.
- Another great option for transferring photos is to save your photos from your phone onto an external (cloud-based) drive, like Dropbox or Google Drive. Once you save your phone's photos to the drive folder, you can access the same folder from your desktop by logging into your account.
- Helpful Hint: Sending photos via email or text message will likely decrease the quality of your image files, as many devices will automatically compress the files in order to send them. Please ensure you are uploading high quality images into your book, so you can have the best print quality possible!
